LARVA Rearing

PUPA Seperation
BSF pupae require a warm and humid environment to develop into adult flies. The ideal temperature range is between 27-32°C (81-90°F) and a humidity level of around 70-80%. We can maintain pupae in a ventilated container filled with moist substrate, such as sawdust, coconut coir, or vermiculite. Keep the substrate moist but not waterlogged. Overall, BSF pupae are relatively easy to collect and maintain. With proper care and attention, you can successfully produce a steady supply of adult flies for composting or animal feed.

We built a natural breeding cage in a controlled environment that allows for natural light, air, and humidity, which is great for black soldier flies (BSF). Our enclosure is protected from high winds, intense sunshine, and rain. The breeding cage is over 15 square meters in size. We offer adequate ventilation to ensure a steady flow of fresh air and to prevent moisture accumulation.
