Mode of Action of AGSO Trichoderma as a Bio-Control Agent
AGSO Bio Trichoderma is a highly effective bio-control fungus and bio-fungicide that protects crops from destructive soil-borne fungal diseases while improving plant growth and soil health.
Mycoparasitism (Direct Pathogen Destruction) : AGSO Trichoderma directly attacks pathogenic fungi by coiling around their hyphae and secreting cell-wall-degrading enzymes (chitinase, glucanase, protease), leading to pathogen breakdown and death.
Antibiosis (Natural Antifungal Metabolites) : Produces natural antifungal compounds that inhibit pathogens such as Fusarium, Rhizoctonia, Pythium, Sclerotium, Phytophthora, reducing disease pressure in the root zone.
Competitive Colonization : Rapidly colonizes the rhizosphere and root surface, out-competing harmful fungi for space and nutrients, preventing pathogen establishment.

Dosage & Method of Application
Seed Treatment (Preventive Use) : Mix 1Kg of AGSO Trichoderma with seeds required for 1 Acre (Approx25-40 Kg). Allow seeds to dry in shade before Sowing, This Provides early protection against soil pests.
Seedling Root Dip / Nursery Treatment : Mix 10 gm of AGSO Trichoderma with 1L of water. Dip the seedling for 10-20 minutes before transplanting.
Foliar Spray (Field Crops) : Mix 1Kg AGSO Trichoderma with 150 to 200 Liter of water for one acer. Spray thorough coverage on both leaf sides (dense spray). 10-15 day intervals.

Soil Application (Supplementary Method) : Soil Application: Mix 2Kg of AGSO Trichoderma with 100 Kg compost or organic manure, broadcast or apply near the root zone.
Drip Irrigation / Drenching : Mix 2Kg of AGSO Trichoderma with 200L of water. Drip irrigation 1 acre of land.
 
Greenhouse Application: Mix 2Kg of AGSO Trichoderma with 100 Kg compost or organic manure, broadcast or apply near the root zone.
Gardeners and small scale farmers : 10 gm of AGSO Trichoderma with 1L of water. Hand sprayer / watering can apply weekly during growing season for prevention.
Application Tips for Maximum Effectiveness
Timing: Apply early in the morning or late afternoon when temperatures are moderate.
Coverage:Â Ensure thorough coverage of all plant surfaces, especially the undersides of leaves where many pests hide.
Weather Conditions:Â Avoid application during hot, dry conditions or when rain is expected within 4-6 hours.
